"May those that love us, love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles
So we will know them by their limping."
- An Irish Blessing
I’m glad I’m not Irish on top of Italian because I would be checking every Tim Hortons, Restaurant, Bar or whatever last night to find the creeps that vandalized the campus. I had to wash my van last night at 1 AM because it was egged, soaped, and, I fear, keyed. Luckily, I have a release lever for my gas tank because when we came in last night - Brent found a bag of sugar that was left. Sugar in the gas tank... not a pretty sight.
I was so mad last night and still a little upset now. I need to check, now that it is daylight, if the van was keyed or if there was any other damage done to it. The worst part of the whole “having to go outside” thing is that we just got more snow last night. My attitude right now isn’t the greatest.
I watched the movie “Boondock Saints” last weekend and I’m sort of wishing for this type of response to this crime (until I realized the whole need for forgiveness thing):
"And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."
