It Comes But Once A Year....:

And I don’t mean Christmas. Right now I am sitting in the chapel for a 3 hour orientation in which our Dean of Students reads the handbook to the student body in case we forgot. I have found it to be my experience that the reason that we have half the rules in the Student Handbook is because of idiots taking certain things to the extreme.

It is the Rule of the Idiots that has caused us the semi-strict guidelines which we must follow. For example, because of people spending hours of television on end, the lounges are closed at 12:30... it is the same reason why we can’t watch movies in our room... it is the same reason why extremes in hair issues are confronted....

We have had multiple people over the years who have pushed the line on these issues so we have to have all of these rules. I understand the principles of obedience and discipline, so I follow the rules. However, it is amazingly aggravating to have rules created because of stupid people.

Back In The Saddle:

Greetings kids! That’s right, you’re truly is back in action, rockin’ a phat spacious room in the coveted Tom Phillippe House. Along with my fellow partner in crime, Brent Green, trusted sidekick and roommate, we innovate and plan to continue the history of our BBC career.

This year is a little different though. I am now the Student Body President, so I have a bit of responsibility. The meeting and greeting of Freshmen and returning students went well as well as the annual slip n’ slide down Prez’s hill and I have a greet staff to work with. We shall see what the year holds.

This is me signing out
