Cause of Injury:

As I have mentioned on numerous occasions, I love my job. Everyone is pretty cool to work with and each have their own little quirks and such that make a day at work very interesting. Though we all come from different backgrounds and such, we all share a common joy... aside from clocking out at the end of the day.... food.

Because of limited area in the file room, I have been using a table in the kitchen/break room as my desk. Many people come in and out. Normally in with a growling stomach and out with some sort of food.

Today, Bill came in and was cooking a bagel. During that process, he burned his hand and almost lost the bagel to gravity and the floor. I half chuckled to myself and then said, “Bill, you’d better be careful, I don’t think that you could apply for worker’s compensation...”

I was then called to the file room to fetch a file and my twisted mind kicks in... and I start laughing. The only thing I can picture is a claim form with the line:

Cause of Injury: Bagel.
