Weekend Warrior:
So this weekend has been full of the twists and turns of semi-adulthood life. I don't know if you could call it a weekend because I did so much! Friday night I went over the Matt's house and after watching one of the dumbest/cheesiest movies ever made. Basically, a rapper wanted to try his hand at Hollyweird and made a ridiculously stupid, shallow-plotted waste of 1 and a half - 2 hours on my breathing existence.
The evening wasn't a waste though. You see, Thursday night I was hit with this terrible urge... and urge to bake! I know that sounds utterly weird, but if you look at who is writing, you get the idea. I don't know if you could legitimately call it "baking" because I used these "just add water/milk" mixes that Mom sent me up here with. Sara Miller pointed out that it is mixing, not baking. A technicality. I used what I had and though it wasn't taking your own creative liberty with recipes, it satisfied the urge.
The evening did not end until 5:30, Saturday morning with a glorious crescendo of finished Acts study guides. 20 pages and about 6000 words later, I am done. I will happily hand it in tomorrow, though the actual due date isn't until Wednesday! HA! The day is mine!
The only problem with this is that it messed up my sleeping habits and so now I am amazingly tired. I ended up sleeping through church, which was not a happy thing. Also, because of my inability to concentrate, I feel like I let a friend down when they needed to talk. I was too fried to give them a thoughtful response. Guess we all let each other down now and then.
Well the weekend is almost over and I am about the enter my last full week of classes. I am so amazingly excited about being done... that means that I am closer to India as the days continue on. 23 days left.....
