Welcome Back to the Grind:

So it hasn’t even been a week yet, but we are already back into the swing. Today is our first campus assembly and I guess I must be important because I have an agenda. Ok, so I am the student body president and I guess that I have an important role. But I am excited.

Last night we did “The Hunt” and it went well. I had a mohawk for it actually. I had Brent cut my hair and while he was buzzing it (yeah, I have a buzz cut now... not bic’ed, but buzzed). He left a inch and a half wide strip down the center of my head....”Dude, you should totally leave that for The Hunt!” So I did. In combination with dying it black, it looked wicked cool!

I dressed up in my black rave pants with boots, gray with black ringer Past Out T, Brent’s blue sunglasses and my big black leather trench coat. I looked menacing. I walked down to Tim Hortons, sat and drank a medium tea with milk and 5 sugars and had 2, almost 3 groups walk right past me. It was great.

Anywho, so here I sit in the assembly and wait in anticipation for my turn to stand and delivery the passion that God has given me for this campus. My hope is that people not only see me as I am, but that they also see Christ through me.
